Home on the Range
Probably the most appropriate cookies on the entire blog seeing as they celebrate Kansas. While I usually only decorate with frosting, I added a special extra to the sunflowers. I put chocolate sprinkles in the center for more texture and a new flavor!

Sweet Summertime
I made these cookies as end-of-the-year gifts for my daughter to hand out at work. They were perfect as we got ready for summer!
Happy Easter!
These bunnies and carrots were for Easter dinner. Fun fact: cookies decorated like carrots are often more popular than actual carrots.
Memorial Day
These simple cookies were made for Memorial Day. In patriotic colors, they were a nice touch to our Memorial Day celebrations!
Let It Snow!
Even though these were some of the only snowflakes we saw this winter, they were very popular and much sweeter than the real stuff.
Strawberries
I made the strawberries as a celebration of spring. They were a perfect size snack- much smaller than the usual cookies!
Be Mine
Sweet treats for one of the sweetest holidays! For this batch I incorporated a few chocolate cookies to add variety.
Halloween
The scariest part about the Halloween cookies was the effect the black frosting left on your mouth after eating one!
Marigolds
I made these cookies for Memorial Day. Each cookie has multiple layers of frosting to give the petal effect!
Labra-cookie
This one's in honor of guess who? My sweet labrador Paisley. Unfortunately, these cookies were made for humans and not doggies, so she wasn't able to partake in the sweet treats.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk!
Both of my kids graduated from the University of Kansas and I made these cookies for my daughter's graduation in May. The Beak 'Em Hawk was made using a flood transfer. Rock Chalk!
Daisies
I always publish my cookie pictures to Facebook to share with friends and family. My aunt Meg, who is two states away, sees them and wishes she was able to try some. So this spring I sent her this fresh batch of daisies!
Fourth of July
I made these cookies for a Fourth of July celebration with family. The stripes are decorated with disco dust for a special touch!
ABCs and 123s
My daughter worked at a child development center and I made these cookies for a function there. The ABCs and 123s are separate cookies adhered to the base cookies with frosting for a 3-dimensional effect.
Paisley.
She's never met a cookie she didn't like.
She was also the inspiration for the labrador cookie. Here she is tuckered out after a long day of baking.
